Logs viewer access

There is separate web application to access logs from GDPR Explorer on url https://<your_GDPR_host>/logs/

There is also button to open Logs viewer from Cogniware GDPR Explorer. Link is in the administration section.

Only users that are part of administrative group can sign into this application.

Working with application

On the left side, there are different sections of the application. Dashboard and Discover sections are the most useful for you.

Changing time window

At the top right part of the screen you can change the time window you want to see results for. By default it is set to last 15 minutes.

When you click the time window you can also choose to auto-refresh results periodically, it is just next to the time window.

Dashboard

When you click on the Dashboard in left menu (and you are already switched to dashboards, otherwise you would need to click twice) it shows you the list of available (pre-configured) dashboards/views.

By default application is opened on dashboard with statistics with amout of logs from each part of the application in time. First graph shows only warning and error logs and the one below show all log severities.

There is another prepared dashboard which shows audit records.

Discover

This part of the application shows detailed log entries instead of summaries. But it also includes ammount of log entries in time.

At the top of the view there is Open button that will show you all pre-defined views to data.

There are two pre-defined views:

• logs
• audit
