This article introduces the Dashboard view, which shows general information: status of connected data sources and personal data store statistics.

Status of scanned data sources

Each line of this table represents one data source connection ("crawler") in Cogniware Data Collector - special software that connects to source systems and extracts records.



Above you see two database crawlers (they scan databases for records to be checked for personal information). The second crawler is called "Filesystem CV Folder" and the crawler found and indexed 62 records (column INDEXED RECORDS). All records stored in this table were already crawled (100% information in the column INDEXED RECORDS %). Last execution was 09.07.2018 at 16:59:00. The status of this crawler is "COMPLETED". You can see the status of each crawler if you hover your mouse over the icon in the column STATUS.

Crawler status

There are five statuses that the CW Data Collector crawler can be in:

  1. COMPLETED: The crawler successfully finished and is waiting for the next scheduled run.
  2. RUNNING: The crawler is currently running and updating the system with new records from the source system.
  3. STOPPED: The crawler was stopped by the administrator.
  4. INITIALIZATION ERROR: There was an error when the crawler was supposed to start, please contact your administrator or Cogniware Service Desk for further assistance.
  5. FAILED: The crawler successfully started but was unable to finish, please contact your administrator or Cogniware Service Desk for further assistance.

Last Update

Information about the last update of this table is at the bottom of the Scanned data status table. Here you can see the last update was on 23.08.2018 at 10:34.



Data store statistics 

Here are shown some of the statistics from the system. Your organization may want to use different ones or disable some of the standard ones.

  • Scanned Sources: Number of scanned data sources.

  • Records Under GDPR Policy: Number of scanned records that have at least one personal information inside.

  • Personal Data Items: Total amount of personal information recognized in the scanned records.
  • Total Amount Of Requests: Total amount of requests created in the system.
  • Average Resolution Time: Average time for request to by resolved.
  • Requests Close To Deadline/After Deadline: Number of requests that are close to deadline/after deadline.
  • Tasks Close To Deadline/After Deadline: Number of tasks that are close to deadline/after deadline.

Request type statistics

  • Erasure: Number of Erasure requests.
  • Right To Access: Number of right to access requests.
  • Data Portability: Number of Data Portability requests.
  • Rectification: Number of Rectification requests.
  • Automated decision making: Number of Automated decision making requests.
  • Processing restriction: Number of Processing restriction requests.
  • Objection to processing: Number of Objection to processing requests.
